As already posted, off the beaten path, but still easy to find. It felt authentic, like the real deal! Good waitstaff and great guidance from the Chef. Cinghiale..just order it and thank me later. Fantastic. I'm coming back...
Two days ago, we had a wonderful experience at a trattoria in Siena with friends. It was simple and unpretentious, yet authentic. The staff was absolutely nice and welcoming. The menu was made up of local products, deliciously cooked. The pesto pasta I ordered was unbelievable, and the wine list was excellent. Last but not least, the prices were reasonable.
Delicious food the best lunch we have had on our trip to Sienna! The rabbit was excellent and the sliced beef with herbs was very, very good. The tomato soup was very tasty and the pasta pici all’aglione was some of the best red sauces we have tried. Service and our waitress were very kind and we all cleaned our plates!
Incredible value and delicious meals. The wild boar stew was amazing, and the carbonara was probably the best we’ve had. We tried to go back the next night but they were closed! Highly recommend
We came to Trattoria Dink on a Wednesday evening so we didn't need any reservations. The staff was welcoming and the food was excellent. The fried vegetables were crisp and tasty. If you find yourself in Siena give these guys a try, you will not be disappointed
Wonderful old school trattoria a bit off the beaten path in Siena. You’ll still need reservations if you want to eat later but we found a table for two at 7pm on a Saturday. February was busier than we thought. The food was outstanding and the service very friendly. The wild boar was delicious. The tiramisu very good and somehow a little unique. Maybe something else mixed in with the mascarpone to give it extra flavor. The chef came out and greeted us warmly and made sure everything was fine.
Delicious food and great service, what an amazing dinner.
Was able to walk in on Sunday evening without reservation. Food was wonderful and atmosphere was nice and quiet. They served a 15 day dry aged steak with great potatoes ans classic pasta from Sienna.
